Pupil Premium
Nationally, statistics show that pupils from certain groups, such as those eligible for free school meals and children in care, attain less well than their peers. The aim of Pupil Premium funding is to close the attainment gap.
As a school we aim to meet the needs of all our pupils but with careful use of this funding we can specifically support pupils vulnerable to under-achievement. Pupils are supported in achieving their potential through targeted academic interventions, suitable nurturing and support, an engaging curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities and most importantly high quality teaching in appropriate groups.
All policies can be made available in paper form via a request to the main office.
